Helena Martins on photography
/ my approach to photography in general is to apply my style, my point of view into subjects and objects of our lives. Using photography as an artistic expression to provoke emotions, touch people and document events.
/ when it comes to shooting portraits and people, I aim to build an unbiased connection between the subject and the emotion of the observer. Nothing else should be there.
/ photographing spaces is slightly different. What it matters is to kick-start a journey through my photographs.
/ I'm a photojournalist for newspaper; Travel photographer working on commissions for a company part of the Washington Group; Photographer Volunteer for a variety of charities
In London I prefer to work within the Alternative | Indie | LGBT world.
/ you should consider booking my services if you're looking for someone non-judgemental and personal photography. Drop me an email to discuss it further.
